Instagram feed planner

See how your next posts will look together on the profile

Instiles is a free online Instagram feed planner for separate posts. Drop in a batch of photos, see them side by side with the real 3:4 profile crop and gaps, and reorder them until the grid reads evenly — before anything goes live.

Plan the grid, not just the calendar

Every post can look good and the profile can still look off

Schedulers show posts one at a time or as a calendar. What they rarely show is how the next nine posts will sit next to each other — and that is what people see first when they open your profile.

Two dark shots in the same corner, three close-ups in a row, a portfolio cut off by the new 3:4 thumbnails: none of this is visible in a single-post preview. In Instiles you see the actual grid and fix the order in seconds.

The editor runs in the browser, it is free, and you do not need an account. Keep your scheduler — Instiles only takes care of the grid.

Two profile grids with the same nine posts. In the scheduled order two dark posts stack in the right column; after reordering they are spread across the grid.

In your schedulerPosts look fine one at a time

A calendar or single-post preview never shows that two dark shots will land in the same corner.

In InstilesReordered on the real grid

Swap two posts and the profile reads evenly again — before you publish anything.

Same nine posts, two orders: as scheduled, two dark shots stack in one column; after reordering they are spread across the grid.

How it works

How to plan an Instagram feed in four steps

01

Upload your photos. Select up to 12 photos at once. Each one fills its own cell in reading order, and the grid grows to fit.

02

Check the profile crop. Switch to the profile preview: 4:5, square and tall posts are center-cropped to 3:4 the way Instagram shows them.

03

Reorder by dragging. Swap posts until light and dark frames alternate and no corner feels heavy. Numbers show which post goes out first.

04

Export or schedule. Download files numbered in posting order, or simply follow the same order in Later, Buffer, Planoly or Meta Business Suite.

What you get

Works with any scheduler

Keep scheduling in Later, Buffer, Planoly, Postiz, or Meta Business Suite. Check the layout here, or export numbered files in posting order.

Mix with puzzle tiles

Put a connected banner row and separate photos in the same plan: puzzle tiles and photo posts share one grid.

FAQ

Instagram feed planner questions

Is this Instagram feed planner free?

Yes. The editor is free to use in the browser and does not require an account.

Does it replace my scheduler?

No. Keep scheduling in Later, Buffer, Planoly, Postiz or Meta Business Suite. Instiles shows how the posts will sit in the grid and gives you the order to follow.

How many posts can I plan at once?

Up to 12 photos — four full rows of the profile grid.

Why do my photos look cropped on the profile?

The profile shows posts as 3:4 thumbnails. Square and 4:5 posts lose their edges in the grid, even though they are shown in full when opened. Instiles previews that crop before you post.

Does Instiles publish to Instagram for me?

Not yet. Instiles plans the grid and exports files in posting order; publishing stays in Instagram or your scheduler.
